The cock or Gallus is a bird belonging to the order of Galliformes and the family or Phasianidae Phasianidae. The rooster includes four species which stands on the European continent or the Gallus gallus Red Rooster, being the only one that can be hybridized and have fertile offspring with domestic copies. The other three species are Gallus Rooster lafayetii or Sri Lanka, sonneratii or Gallo Gallus Gallus varius gray or green Gallo.
Between the rooster and the hen there is great sexual dimorphism, the former being much greater than the second (1.8 Kg and 0.70 meters for the Rooster by 1.3 kg and 0.50 for chicken) . The colors of the roosters are usually black for the chest, middle of the wing and tail (although the latter may have blue and green colors with the reflection of light), white on the cape, back and wing tip and red in the combs and wattles.
